▪ ideal flat (flat water, no waves)
▪ large shallow bay
▪ waves for wave riding far from the shore (about 80 m)
▪ sandy shore, reef bottom
▪ not wide beach, with trees
▪ right-hand wind at an angle
▪ wind strength is always slightly greater than in Cabarete
Due to the drier climate, the wind for kitesurfing at the Buen Hombre kite spot is always stronger than in Cabarete.
If a small cyclone comes to Cabarete, with clouds for a couple of days, then in Buen Hombre there can be a sunny day and a great wind for kitesurfing!

The conditions for kitesurfing in Buen Hombre are ideal, especially for beginners!
About 80 meters from the shore, the reef cuts off the ocean wave, which creates a flat (smooth water surface, without waves).
Most of the water area in Buen Hombre is about a meter deep.
Such shallow water is very helpful for those who are just learning kitesurfing.
Learning kitesurfing in Buen Hombre at the water start stage is much easier than on a kite spot with waves!
But be careful! Shallow water is deceptive, do not forget about the ocean tides.
The bottom of the bay of Buen Hombre is reef, which means that during low tide, when there is very little water, it is easy to get hurt or break the keels on the board.
The reef is shallow even at high tide!

The depth is greater further from the shore, which allows professionals to ride freely.
Wave kitesurfing in Buen Hombre away from the shore gives simply magnificent sensations!
